Visionary Or Crazy?

The key to management is to get rid of the managers.

The key to getting work done on time is to stop wearing a watch.

The best way to invest corporate profits is to give them to the employees.

The purpose of work is not to make money. The purpose of work is to make the workers,
whether working stiffs or top executives, feel good about life.

Aaron: ok, so the answer is Crazy. Look, Ricardo's words sound great; however, he doesn't provide any replacements for what he suggests that we discard.

Managers actually help in organizing how work gets done. They can also be a great source of institutional knowledge.

It's not wearing a watch that's the issue, but rather having good time management skills - then and only then you don't need the watch.

I'm all for giving corporate profits to employees, but then what? How about if you give profits to employees and then have them decide how to spend them to grow the business?

Of course the purpose of work is not to make money - it's to create value. Feeling good about life is one aspect of value, but there is a lot more also.
